Rain

What does rain do to you? It gets me all excited.  Rain, to me, is a reminder of God's love for all living things, and that means me! I know the Lord is cleaning the earth, and something inside says, "I want to show my love and clean too!" I feel ungratiful by staying in bed or like I am missing out on something bigger than myself. Water is our life source, without it we can't live.  When the Lord punishes the wicked it is sometimes by drought.  I may not like getting wet, but doesn't the result of a shower, dip in the pool, or fresh smell of the clean earth make you happy? Now I know some places seem to get worst smelling after a rain or wash. That is because those areas need a second or three cleaning with God's grace hopefully they will get it.  So, when I am feeling down or dirty, I guess the best thing to do is remember God loves me and provided wonderful resources for me to stay clean.  Number 1- Our Savior, Jesus Christ's atonement, #2- Repentance, #3- Plan of happiness to follow,
#4- A willing soul to do it and then serve others too! I love you all and hope you enjoy the rain when it comes into your life and find pleasure in praying for this source of life.
