Upon leaving North Platte we went to Alliance Nebraska and visited Stonehenge (actually it is Carhenge) Cars were placed to look like Stone henge. They are celebrating their 20 year anniversary this year. It was very interesting, they also had some other car art there on site, one that fits the area was the Station Wagon. We continued our travels Northward. Just outside of Mt. Rushmore is another mountain sculpture in progress called Chief Crazy Horse. Mt. Rushmore was on my moms list of thing to see in her life time. We then started our Westward travels, stopping to spend the night in Buffalo Wyoming. We drove through Sturgis a few weeks to early for Bike week. (States drove thru: 4. Nebraska, 5. South Dakota, and 6. Wyoming.)
