Summer 2009

Here are a few snapshots of summer activities this year.

Our summer really got started when we went to visit the cousin in Waco. Heather with Garin, Rebecca with Clara, Evan, Joshua, and Eva ( I am sure Caleb is around somewhere) and Allen is taking the picture.

We had a trip to the zoo the Elephants and Giraffes show their knowledge of practice for pictures Garin would rather eat his pretzel is peace. We enjoyed a little AC in the gift shop trying on visors (maybe I will get around to helping the kids make their own at home).
Back to Waco for Spray park fun. We had to take the picture sideways to get everyone in.
Rebecca, Joshua, Caleb, Matthew, Clara, Heather, Garin, Eva, Evan, Mark, and of course our photographer Allen. Grandma Jackson and Grandma & pa "Horsey" where there too.
Summer might not be over yet, but Eva is already thinking about school. This is a picture of her before her physical and four shots (notice the smile on her face). She would normally go to Pre-K, but she is so advanced that the school is going to test her for Kindergarten. Even though it was a lot of shots and she cried, she tells me now, "Mom I am really strong now to go to school, the doctor put lots of medicine in me so I won't get sick."
Not summer would be complete without a trip to the children's museum. Evan as Pharaoh and Eva and Cleopatra.
