Over 30 years ago as a kid my mother always involved us in fun summer activities to keep us out of trouble and I found myself at the kitchen table with my kids going over the game plan for this summer. Their chooses reflect the fun things we have done in the past and wish to duplicate this year.
1. Fire Stations- Evan like most boys love the firetrucks and so did Garin until he saw one up close at the fire station. This summer will be the grand tour of the four stations in our town and to show our thanks to the firemen (we don't have any fire women that we have met yet), we found an awesome song that we memorized and sing to them.
2. Summer festivals that involve free or cheap fun for the kids, like the county fair and "play dates" with our friends.
