Wow! We return from a 16 day road trip/vacation and only have 11 days to be completely ready for school to start. Should I be concerned? If I was not somewhat prepared I would say YES in a heart beat, but it seems everything have been coming together nicely. Allen insisted on coming home a day early to relax, but we used the day to clean the van and unpack. Bonus: we made it home in time to register for free school supplies too that gave Evan a perfect backpack for PreK and Eva some more items and a bonus hair trim! Saturday we finished the last purchases for school and we feel ready for this new year. School starts Monday so I hope to have pictures of the kids.
A blog is in the works documenting our adventures of 5,450+ miles to visit 3 great grandmas, attend 2 weddings, and 1 trip down "missionary memory lane." Too much maybe, but with two months of planning we pulled off the end of what my mom would call, "the best summer ever." We will have many more summers with new adventures, just takes a little planning and the right attitude.
