Mother

Yours is a holy calling ...
a sacred dedication for carrying out the Lord's work, a consecration to the ... nurturing of body, mind, and spirit of those ... who come to this earth ... to learn and be tested and to work towards godhood.
-Spencer W. Kimball

This quote sums up what I have learned from my mother. She testified through her actions of service and taught me how to be "that mother" before I knew it would be possible to follow in her footsteps.  I recently wrote down my feelings on the subject: Motherhood is ..., first to get presceptive of my own motherly responsibilities then realized it is not a job or duty, but a gift from God.  My mother learned and shared that God's unconditional love was the only way to truely grasp the blessings of motherhood.
I love you mom, I miss you, and I am so glad you were there for our family. I sing your praises to the heavens for you are no longer a phone call away. Happy Birthday Day!
