Evan is 4!

What is happening in the life of Evan Ray Shutt? For months he has been telling everyone that he is turning four on his birthday. No big celebrations except an awesome trip to Gilmer, TX to play with the cousins. Now he says, "I am four my birthday just pasted."

Here are a few highlights of this past 2010 year.

Evan and his best dog named Bo (after his real best friend). Here he is showing me how Bo talks. They started the year doing everything together, now it is down to the important times like road trips and sleeping buddy.

A silly Sunday afternoon complete with glove, hat/bucket, and bandaid nose. Not sure if he was going for Knight look or maybe an astronaut. He is not one to enjoy bandaid either, so this is a unique moment (like the dress up moments I am keeping for "black mailing" later).

Evan loves his pre- school class at the library with his friends. He is going to be so ready for real pre -K Fall 2011 year. His is doing great with his name, loves singing, reading together and telling stories.

If you asked him what he will be when he goes up, Evan is going to say, "A Fireman." He has memorized The Fire Truck song and we regular take trips to the five stations around town to sing it to the Firefighters. He even sang it for his church class one Sunday. His teacher told me how amazed she was when he sang all the verses. Here he is sitting in the Firetruck with the Red (his favorite color of course) seat belt. In our van he would sit in the same position.

I love my little Pooh Bear. He is so lovable and sometimes overly cuddly with his siblings. He is a prince in disguise most of the time with a vacuum cleaner part as a sword, "Superman/Batman" cape, and his black boots. He is my #1 boy and the best Christmas present I got in 2006. "For into us a child is born, unto us a son is giving." holds a double meaning in my heart.

I love you Evan!
